Because of the increase in unrelated and/or "bad neighborhood" link requests, we have made the following changes to our reciprocal linking acceptance. We will only consider linking to a website that meets these requirements:
- Must be related with ours and provide good content that may be of interest to our customers. Related sites include those focusing on babies, children, education, industry-related, etc.;
- Must be child-friendly (this requirement speaks for itself);
- Must not, in any shape or form, participate in questionable linking practices such as, but not limited to, link farms, triangular linking, non-related free-for-all linking;
- Our link should not appear more than 2 clicks from home page;
- Requesting site must have physically visited our site online (not computer generated form request for link) and deemed us compatible;
- Link must first appear on requestor's site.
Unfortunately, we've had to really get tough with our reciprocal linking program due to continued abuse by those parties that try to take advantage through bad practice "linking strategies." It's not worth anyone's time and effort to wind up being penalized by Google or any other search engine. If the above conditions are not met, your request will be deleted.
